Summer LEAP 2027

Daily, one-on-one summer intervention, online or in coastal Maine, for kids who learn their own way. LEAP runs June through August; sessions are scheduled around your family's summer calendar. 2027 dates and tuition will be announced.

What LEAP is

Most summer programs are designed to keep students busy or prevent learning loss. LEAP is built so students start fall with new skills. Every session is one-on-one and built around what your child needs; there is no generic curriculum and no group where your learner gets a fraction of the teacher's attention.

Individualized
Every session is one-on-one, with a tutor who has studied your child's specific profile before day one.
Built from the skill profile
We identify which specific skills are missing (phonological, orthographic, numeracy), choose the intervention that fits, and build from there.
Research-validated methods
Instruction draws on multiple structured literacy and math programs, chosen by your child's profile and taught with fidelity.
Visible progress
Progress is monitored every session and reported every week. Skills are re-assessed at the end of the summer so school-year providers know your learner's new abilities.

A week in LEAP Online

Ten one-on-one sessions per week, 50 minutes each, in a morning and afternoon block with a break between. Session times are scheduled around your family's availability.

Monthly hours of structured instruction, by format

Weekly tutoring · 1 session/week, 60 min~4 hrs

Different formats serve different needs; weekly tutoring is the right fit for many students. LEAP exists for students who need concentrated intervention.

Who LEAP is for

●Diagnosed with dyslexia, dyscalculia, or dysgraphia, or you suspect they should be
●An IEP for a specific learning disability in reading, writing, or math
●In a private school without direct instruction during the year
●Worked with other tutors and made slow or inconsistent progress
●Consistently not meeting IEP goals, or goals that will not close the gap
●Bright and verbal, but reading or math makes them shut down
●An older student (grades 2 to 8) who has fallen through the cracks
●You want real data on what changed over the summer

LEAP questions

How often do students meet?
Sessions run multiple times per week; that frequency is what makes LEAP different from once-a-week tutoring. We work with your family's summer calendar, and we will say during the consultation what frequency fits your child's profile.
What results can we expect?
In 2025, LEAP students improved decoding by an average of 2.5 grade levels. That is not a promise for every child; outcomes depend on your child's profile, session frequency, and starting point. We track progress every session and will tell you honestly after the first few weeks whether the trajectory looks right.
Is LEAP available online?
Yes. LEAP runs in person in coastal Maine and online. The instruction is the same one-on-one model either way.
How do I enroll?
Start with a free 15-minute consultation. We will hear your child's history, tell you whether LEAP is the right fit, and walk you through what their program would look like. Spots are limited; we keep caseloads small. 2027 dates and tuition are not yet set; consult families hear them first.
