Summer 2026  ·  LEAP Program

PSL Families

Many of our PSL families have watched their children work harder than their peers and still fall further behind. They have sat through meetings where the plan sounded good on paper but did not translate into the growth their child needed. We hear this story often, and we take it seriously.

Our job is to figure out exactly where a student is, design an individualized learning plan based on that data, and deliver the kind of structured, intensive instruction that research tells us makes a difference. The parents on this page trusted us with that work.

We are grateful for their willingness to share their experiences with prospective families and even more grateful that they let us hang our with thier awesome learners.

— Jenny J., parent of a Pine State Learning student

"Our daughter started her journey with Pine State the summer between 3rd and 4th grade with three weeks of the LEAP program, and she continued with weekly tutoring throughout 4th grade. Over the past year, her progress has been remarkable; not only in her reading skills, but also in her confidence. She has gone from avoiding reading whenever possible to playing letter sound games with friends and reading signs that she never could before. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pine State Learning to those looking for the extra support to help their readers."
