PINE STATE LEARNING

SUMMER 2026  ·  HOURLY ONLINE TUTORING

Face to Face Online
LEAP Intensive or Hourly Tutoring

Intensive or part time, individualized reading, writing, and math support for kids

who are ready to stop falling behind, and start getting ahead.

Pine State Learning offers all of our tutoring programs online during the summer. Students work one-on-one with the same tutors who provide our in-person instruction, using the same evidence-based curricula in reading, math, and writing.

HOW ONLINE SESSIONS WORK

Sessions take place in LessonSpace, a virtual classroom built specifically for one-on-one instruction. Students and clinicians share an interactive whiteboard, annotate documents together, and work with the same multisensory tools we use in person. Sessions are recorded and boards are saved, so families can review work between sessions. Students join with a single click. No downloads, no passwords, no setup. Curious what an online session looks like? Try the LessonSpace demo classroom to explore the tools your child will use. Online summer tutoring is available in all three of our program areas:

Reading:

Seeing Stars, Orton-Gillingham, LIPS, and Visualizing & Verbalizing. From phonological awareness through reading comprehension.

Math:

Morningside Math, On Cloud Nine, and Math-U-See. From number sense and computational fluency through credit-bearing coursework.

Reading Comprehension + Writing

Expressive writing, sentence construction, paragraph development, and written expression tied to each student's reading and spelling instruction.

All programs follow the same explicit, multisensory instructional model used in our in-person sessions. Each student's individualized learning plan carries over directly to the online format.

Who Online Tutoring is For

Online summer tutoring works well for families who want to maintain momentum over the summer without the commute, students who are already comfortable with screen-based learning, and families located outside our in-person service area.
